Reworked the hinges so now the doors just lift off.

My tube doors will have the same attachment method, switching between doors will take no longer than a couple minutes now.

It's backed against the retaining wall 'cause that's my 'one man' way to remove the hard top.

Here ya go.

First two pics are of the drivers side A pillar, the top one needs to be shortened 1/2" to allow for the pin to slide in.
The bottom one can be left as is.

Pics 3/4 show the upper and lower hinge half that stays with the door.
Remove the bottom portion where the pin would slide through.

Pic 5 shows the removable pin that takes place of the original roll pin.
This pic is of the passengers side up top.

Works pretty well too.
Open door, pull pin, open door slightly further, lift up on door and presto, hernia.

One person 'can' do it but as most of you know, there's nothing light about blazer doors, best done with a helper.

Doesn't seem to be any different feeling than a full hinge.

I installed a new set of brass bushings while doing it, so I'm sure that helped.

Feels like there's protection without losing visibility.

Installed a set of rock rings while I was in the 'metal' mode.
(welder is out, grinder is out...etc)

I don't know, but that other rock face looked alot steeper. You could invent a meter to tell you the angle of incline. Hard to tell where your going when all you see is sky...

That does look pretty difficult, though.
