Front suspension parts

I need a few, so planned no on replacing all front suspension parts on 68 1/2 ton 2WD. Wondering if there is the “Go TO” place for parts or if a local parts house is ok? Have a budget, but willing to go over for some quality if necessary. Hoping to spend the money just once. Thanks!

Re: Front suspension parts

Buy All Moog from Rockauto . Do it once ,Your local auto parts store will probably be more expensive than buying Moog from rock auto .

Re: Front suspension parts

I bought all Moog stuff from Rock Auto. Some of it showed up in boxes that said made in USA. Some showed up in foreign boxes. I don’t remember if they were from China or Mexico but side by side the parts were clearly not as nice of quality. I sent the foreign ones back and they sent me made in USA replacements.

So watch out for that.

I agree with Grumpy. Rockauto is the way to go.

Re: Front suspension parts

Moog @ Rock Auto likely the best $.

IMHO a sway bar is a noticeable addition if you don't have one. I have the 1 1/4" CPP

Re: Front suspension parts

Just a quick follow up. With the current ways of the world today, shopping around is a must. Constant out of stocks, back ordered, no longer available is common searching for not only these front end parts, but many others needed to work on our trucks. Found most but had to use a couple different part outlets.
Plan ahead before starting a project, you may be not readily get what’s needed.
Gary.

Re: Front suspension parts

I'm updating the frontend on my 69 with a 75 front clip. I ordered a "complete rebuild kit" from a well known company. I ended up ordering all new Moog suspension parts(inner, outter, upper, lower, idler arm) from rockauto.
