Re: rally rims

ok heres the rally on my truck in an off dark grey which is what they will stay...the 31x10.5 threw a cord after a blast on the interstate...guess truck tires dont do well when run 3 digits?? I put 255x70's on the back but they are soon to goto the front and be replaced by 29x18.5 I'm having this rally and its twin get a make over which includes adding 6 more inchs of back space...I'll book mark this and take some pics of the build and finished product should be Kool

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.

Re: rally rims

do all van rallies have 16 holes???
I'll have to change my fronts to vans when I convert to drop spindles....the rallies I have now only have 10 holes??

this could be an issue if I make my 14x15's out of the wrong ones???

Re: rally rims

Looking at the pics above you'll notice the 6 lug rallys have larger but fewer slots than the 5 lug rallys. 10 versus 16.

Re: rally rims

Pardon me. The above pics don't lie.
I don't know that I've ever seen a 6 lug rally with 16 slots in it. How bout posting up a pic?
They could be factory and they could be aftermarket. There are all kinds of possibilities when dealing with these old trucks.

Re: rally rims

That is what I'm talking about!!!!! I was gonna ask you if that was an old pic but then I noticed the van marker lights being recessed. Are you trying to turn that thing into a van? Awesome as usual Albert.

I am not sure if you are asking about my rear trailing arms but if you are I bought them from early
classics and they are the square tubing style. A hell of a lot better than the stock ones in my opinion.

Nice truck. Too bad you are on the other side of the country. I have 4 truck rally wheels and want to swap 2 for van rallys. I got to start hitting the junk yards again.
