Fuel Filler Hose?

Hello,

I spent a while looking through other threads before asking this, but didn't find what I needed. I'm looking for a fuel filler hose for my '68 K10. The one on mine is from it's birth and filling the cab with gas odors. If I smoked and lit up, the whole thing would probably go up in a big fireball....

LMC is having problems locating the correct item, so I thought I'd ask to see what solutions have been found before.

TIA,

Re: Fuel Filler Hose?

The fuel filler in your photo is connected directly to the tank and not removable. The odors could be from a hole in the tank, a leaking sending unit oring (I had this) or it could be a bad deal on your gas cap. Best thing to do would be to remove the seat and check the tank for wet spots or streaks indicating a leak.
