The Resurrection - 68 Stepside

I started on this truck back in 2008 then hit a bump in the road with employment and never got it finished. I still can't do everything I want but hopefully she will be back on the road as my daily driver this month. Here is a list of things done so far.

Rebuilt 350 with a small Comp cam, Edelbrock intake,Holley avenger carb, HEI and headers.
DynoMax headers and exhaust
New radiator, radiator support and inner fenders
Front windshield and rear sliding window
700R4
15x8 Ralley wheels w/ BFG tires - For Sale
window and door rubber

Left to do now:

ECE 5 lug disc brake conversion or comparable system
blue dot tail lights
Reverse chrome wheels and wide whites
B Quiet sound deadening
Something isn't right with the idle, carb or tune. The RPM is way too high and I haven't been able to figure it out.

I really like the ECE setup and the price is reasonable but the shipping is killer so I am looking for a comparable set-up that doesn't cost $909 shipped.

Right now all the above will tap me out but eventually I would like to lower it more and spray it in some shade of Hot Rod Flatz.

On the flatbed to the tuner to figure out what is going on with the idle.
