1972 GMC Jimmy

Thinking of listing my 72 Jimmy. Most of the jimmy still has original paint / drivers side quarter / some of the front fender's have been retouched. Driver side outside rocker replaced at one time but suffered a dent. Passenger side front fender received dent from parking pillar. Other than that factory A/C truck / tach / ps /pb / front buckets redone with original covers. Roll bar, rear tire carrier and front Hickey axle truss are an option that I may consider selling but not for now. Previous owner stated original trans / np205 t case / 350 4 bolt engine but updated to newer heads with hardened valve stem seals. All original suspension with new 31/10/15 on factory 6 wide steel wheels with dog dish covers. Over all runs great / no smoke start-up. Runs and brakes straight down the road. Nice tight dual exhaust with headers. A few drips on occasion front ps and trans. Just had the t/case resealed with new oil. Driveshafts are nice and tight. Front bucket seats and rear seat all matching with seat belts. Rear hatch in good condition / a few cracks that can be easily fixed. Frame and underbody in very good condition. From history of previous 3 owners never been in accident except recent front fender. I would like any opinions of those that own or have restored something similar to what I have. Please tell me what you think. Thanx

Re: 1972 GMC Jimmy

That's a clean clean ride. The Jimmies are bringing slightly less than Blazers.without seeing it in person guessing maybe between 22k and $28k . If the paint was better $30k plus.It has great options and killer add ons. I still have that parchment console I got from you, haven'nt restored it yet. If my project Jimmy doesn't sell it has a need for that parchment console. a1

Re: 1972 GMC Jimmy

Any motor PICS?
AC Work?
SPID in place?
All the seat belts there?
I'm looking for another project as I sold a K5 last week.

Re: 1972 GMC Jimmy

Here is a 72 Jimmy for about 20k.

Rust keeps me away though.
