I wonder how come some trucks came with the glovebox door that had depressions for the can/bottles? Any difinative information on those. I seen them in some model truck nut not all and not in a eanly GMC(60-61)?

I have been looking for a while. I found a cup holder at the local Meijer's store last week for about 10 bucks.

I screwed it to the floor and it was just what I needed.

Look into 89 to early 90 under dash pullout in chevy trucks. Have seen in a lot of rods and customs

i don't have pics but i once used a center cap off a wheel, open end up and screwed it to the floor

don't know if you can buy these any more. it's for a boat and was in my truck when bought. the Bud can is from the mid 70's, pull top that comes out.

I remember them they were called bar buoy had them in the boat and the truck, they did a good job keeping the beverages from spilling out. A mid-seventys had to have, hey didn't Ronco make those just kidding now...Vernski

the one I posted is for a VW Jetta Golf MK4 Bora. looks the same as the one greg63 used. I have not tried one yet

I just set the cup on the high hump floor behind the stick right against the seat.......no issues here.....until I took a corner without setting my hand on the drink.....................................

These are from a 2002 Silverado worktruck. I just used 2 small harbor frieght c-clamps to hold them to the seat's metal lip

LS Fab offers a cup holder that bolts to factory holes on the bottom of the dash. There is 3 different cup options, a 2 cup, 3 cup and 2 cup offset with one larger cup holder. Laser cut stainless steel and stainless steel poker table style cup holders. Comes with required stainless steel mounting hardware as well. Starting at $59.99usd.
