a/c blower motor upgrade

I have been doing some reading here and it seems that my a/c system is not the only one that is lacking in the airflow dept. Is the '94 chevy truck blower motor and fan cage still the best fix for the lack of airflow?

Re: a/c blower motor upgrade

have never felt a need to upgrade, have had very good heat and ac flow// cleaning out ductwork having everything working properly and most important is lubricating those 40year old moving parts makes a big difference

I just got the A/C working on mine and it blows a good amount of air on high. It puts out about the same amount of air as my wifes trailblazer on fan setting 4 (5 being the highest). Mine is a 72 c10 with factory a/c (not that it should effect the blower motors).

Re: a/c blower motor upgrade

The stock blower is plenty strong like the guys say. Often the high speed does not work on these. It has a separate circuit with a relay & it's own fuse.
