Rear hinge pins

Are the rear hinge pins the same size as the door hinge pins?
Who makes the rubber gasket around the barn door hinges?

Thanks in advance

Re: Rear hinge pins

IIRC, Steele Rubber makes the hinge gaskets.

Thumbs up Re: Rear hinge pins

Thanks Pad and Mike for answering my questions.

Are the outer barn door hinge gaskets the same size as the 40-59 suburban?

Re: Rear hinge pins

if you look in the link that I gave you and fill in the listing for what you have and check it out. you will seek the knowledge that you are inquiring about
don't know whether or not if they are the same size as the earlier ones. but they have what you need.

Re: Rear hinge pins

Does anyone make the plug that goes into the holes for the barn doors if the Sub has the clamshells? I've checked Steele, and others but all they carry is the grommet for the hinges
Thanks

Re: Rear hinge pins

I think i saw some online a few months ago. i think it was the filling station.

i was searching "hole plugs"
i think also mc-master carr or grainger had some usable.

my original plugs are still in place but i worry they are probably about to turn to dust.

Re: Rear hinge pins

Thanks guys. I will check both of them out. Next step is an auto paint store. They might have something that will work.
