rivet tool for wing window?

I bought the flare rivets and tool to replace the weather stripping and can't figure out how to get it to flare the rivets. Anyone ever successfully used that flare tool or have a better way of installing the weather stripping?

Re: rivet tool for wing window?

Just an FYI - It's not necessary to remove the pivot rivet.

Re: rivet tool for wing window?

In the video, the rivets are being installed from the wrong direction. The flared part of the rivet should be hiden behind the window run channel. Common mistake.
