Will OEM steel 8 bolt wheels from a 2003 2500 fit my 1998 2500?

Will OEM 8 bolt 16" steel wheels from 2003 2500 fit my 1998 8 bolt 2500 with proper offset?

Thanks,

Yes. They will fit. They have the correct offset.

The pattern changed in 2011 for the trucks. The SUVs pattern changed in 2014.

The 2011+ 5-spoke aluminum wheel can be found on ebay and maybe elsewhere with the older 8x6.5" bolt pattern. They're probably coming our of China, but I know they exist. The ones that are a challenge for me to find are the 2008-10 17" DRW wheels.

RPO N89 17"x7.5" with 8x6.5 lugs?
You can get them new on evilbay for around $150 each.
I used four of those in place of the Hummer wheels that someone thought looked good on my 2005 2500HD.
The tire people won't mount LT265/75R16 on the PY0 16"x6.5" with 8x6.5" lugs supposedly 6.5" wide wheels are too narrow for 265s.

I currently have 285/75/16 on those 6.5” wheels. I’m on my second set and before that I had 265/75/16. No issues at all and they wear good.

I wouldn't mount 285 on 6.5" wide wheels but I've had several sets of 265 on the GMT800 6.5" wide PY0 Aluminum wheels and the old steel wheels as well.
Wilson wouldn't warranty that tire and wheel combo this go round and I didn't have those wheels for the 2005 yet so I just got the N89 wheels. They look good and the N89 & LT265/70/R17 package didin't cost any more than the 16" wheels and tires would've so I'm just fine with it.
