72 C20 Front Lowering Springs

Question..C20 front coils are NOT the same as C10 correct??

It depends on how the truck was optioned. A C10 w/a factory big-block prob has the same coils as a 3/4 ton. They will interchange.

From what I've seen, there are 3 types of springs. If you search around for putting half ton springs on a 3/4 ton truck, you will find some threads with spring rates and such.

Spring types:
1/2 ton regular
1/2 ton heavy duty
3/4 ton regular
3/4 ton heavy duty

1/2 ton heavy duty and 3/4 ton regular are the same spring rate and installed height.
