I need some info for a best top soft top. I have a lead on one to buy but do not know if the parts are all there. I have some pictures but would like to see some other pictures and a parts list. Can the doors be opened and shut with the widows up? Anything I should look for?

I do not believe that Bestop makes a soft top for the Gen 1 Blazers any longer so don't know if any parts would be available. Can't help you with a parts diagram or list. Longshot might be to contact Bestop directly to see if they had any old paperwork/diagrams available.

Bestop stopped making first gen blazer tops several years ago. I have the install instructions in a PDF if you send me your email address via PM.

The top I am looking at is supposed to be nos. It looks nice in pictures but the have no instructions or do they know if it is complete. Is it worth a 500$ gamble. Hey bouncy do you have a best top? Can you shut the doors with the windows up?

I have two Besttop soft tops. One black, the other white. I can shut the door with the window up on both.

I have and STC Fastrack top. No problems with shutting the doors with the windows up. The windows press against the frame that goes over the door opening and there sort of a rain gutter that helps keep the water from coming in. It is not completely water tight.

I have had two bestop soft tops and the softopper I currently have blows it away.

Bestop should have:

Top
Two "L" rails for each side
Bracket for mounting top bows, one each side
Top bows, they are both three piece bows, two angle and a slug to connect them
Pins and cotters for connecting the bows to the mounting bracket
Angled brackets to attach to the windshield frame, one for each side
Door brackets, they anchor on the top of the b-pillar then the top of the T connects to the front hoop and then to the windshield frame
You need to drill the supplied snaps into the windshield header and onto the tailgate.
The snaps are pretty universal and available at most hardware stores

I can't tell you monetary value.

I have a parts list if you want it,although I called Bestop direct and only a very few of the parts are still out there,by very few I mean, snaps and generic stuff.If any of you out there with a Bestop could measure the bows for me so I can fab some for the used top I bought it would be great!!
