70 GMC "helping a vet"

So...been speaking to a gentleman in SC about his truck after he bought my Camaro gas tank setup. Found out he isn't able to install himself so I told him I'd be glad to help, well that turned into a list of request and after hearing his story of being a disabled veteran I felt the urge to take on his truck.

The start up is replacing the core support and right fender and painting to match as well as fixing all other paint mistakes. Doors do not function correctly, interior is a little jacked up due to improper installation on a lot of parts and shop using improper fasteners. Doors have 4 bolts holding them to hinges and they are so cross threaded they aren't even tight. Door latches have been destroyed due to slamming doors to get them to latch. The list goes on and on!!!
For now here is a pic of truck as when I brought

Re: 70 GMC "helping a vet"

Core support and RH fender, carb is being rebuilt, new gas tank going under it, full interior, steering column, bolt and screw kit(has mix and match in it now), electrical repair for wipers to work, door latches, doors need to be properly hung and nuts in doors to be repaired, heat and air, and a lot of paint repair. As for now that's a start and will probably find more issues once I get more in depth with it. Picked up fender and core support this morning before work and hoping carb is done real soon

Sounds good. I have a powdercoated hood latch and grill support from a gmc that I won't use if you think this truck could use them. I also have some other random parts, if you need something just let me know
