Rain water passenger side inside firewall/floor board, 1981 k20

I dont have any carpet, stripped out, metal floor

When it rains water drips/running down from inside firewall to floor. Felt/cardboard insulation damp on inside firewall too.

I was going to pull the cowl piece( between hood and windshield) and plastic screens to search for leak source

Anyone know what exactly is leaking rain water in?

My first suspect would be the seam above the blue arrow.

Second place would be inside the cowl.

Also check the windshield seal, especially the corners.

I'm working on this issue currently I pulled the cowl and found a bunch of dirt and such.

Also the seal between the floor and the firewall is/was cracked and brittle i have taken all of that out and working on putting rust inhibitor, POR-15 and 3M sealant down. I'm not totally done but definatly sure this isn't helping the water flow out.

here is a link to my post with a few pics of what i found.

I've had one leak thru the a/c housing stud going thru the firewall as well.
