LS/6L80E Swap

Does anyone know if the Holley Terminator Max will work with the GM Performance Parts 6L80E part number 19417102. I am being told that it can only be used with the GM Performance engine controller?? Not having any luck getting Holley or GM Performance Parts to answer the phone or return messages.Forgive me if this is already answered in a previous forum, I have searched and had no luck finding anything.

Re: LS/6L80E Swap

Holley just came out with new software for the terminator x max to support the 6L80 Trans. Take a look at thier website. 6L80/90E Transmission Control (PN 558-499) from thier website.

I have a production 6L80 and i have the Holley running it.

I read the details on the part number you listed, it seems to have a controller with it, so I am of no help to this conversation.

My mechanic is not able to get the trans to communicate with the computer, has anyone heard of this issue? They have been through the wiring (Holley said they may have a bad connection) all is good still no luck???

Not a clue about the Holley. I understand that when using the oem ECM and TCM the vin number stored in the units much match or communication will not happen. Why I obtained everything from the same car for my swap. The aftermarket has the communication hurdle to overcome on all the newer 6+ speed transmissions.
