Refurbish/Restoration Specialists

I was wondering if anyone knew of a place or two (doesn't matter where) that specialized in the refurbishing or restoration of 67-72 suburbans, or could do that kind of work reasonably.

I did find one place in Idaho, great stuff but very pricey.

Any help would be appreciated as I look to get a project driver underway.

thank you in advance

Re: Refurbish/Restoration Specialists

There are 1/2 dozen auto restoration shops in Sarasota ,Find one local to you before you waste money shipping a suburban across country .At least you can check on it every few days . What's pricey $100-$150.00 an hour ?

Plus they'll want money upfront. They don't want to sink man hours into it and have you abandon the project.

If the one you have doesn't have a lot of sentimental value to you, I would suggest you find one that has already been restored. You will be money ahead and riding it around a lot sooner... Just my $.02.

Rob provides good advice and that is why I bought one already done. You can probably buy a nice one for less than the price of having body work and paint done.

X4 on what Rob and others said

But even ALOT of sentimental value doesn't keep you from questioning your sanity as you are signing the checks.

Find what you want or at least close ... and then add your personal touches, as we all do some of us more than others

And welcome to the forum ... hope to see what you decide
