Fireball Whiskey

Anyone ever heard of that brand?
There was a multi vehicle crash near Little Rock and one of the semis involved had a load of Fireball Whiskey and yes a fire broke out. I'm no whiskey drinker but I've not heard of that one before. I thought it ironic and it did take many hours to clean it all up and open the lanes to traffic again.

Re: Fireball Whiskey

hipster brand of cinnamon liquor, like dekuyper hot damn in the 90's

which btw, I won a shooting contest for a t-shirt, third worst hangover of my navy career

second was yaeger shooting champion for double billed cap

we don't talk about the first, but it involved breakage at McP's in Coronado and corpsman observation

Re: Fireball Whiskey

Fireball is a cinnamon whiskey that isn't quite as sweet as the other cinnamon whiskeys.

Only thing I know about that stuff is from a sales conference a few years ago. That stuff causes bad things to happen, really bad things...

Re: Fireball Whiskey

I had a shot of the Fireball stuff once. I get heartburn easily at my age, and the cinnamon does me in. I can drink corn squeezin's OK. Oh, and that 15 YO Glenfiddich is the real thing! Though I find that it stays with me into the next day. Weird, I can drink cognac and such just fine, but the same amount of scotch just does me in.

Re: Fireball Whiskey

Fireball is another trend for doing shots at the bar. To me it is just Fireball, not whiskey. If it doesn't taste like whiskey it ain't whiskey. The stuff is easy to drink. It's a good one to pass around a group of friends and put away for a while.

Wholly Schmokes! I definitely haven't consumed that much JD, and quite possibly haven't consumed that much whiskey in my entire life! Well, maybe...

Re: Fireball Whiskey

Wild Turkey 101 is the real stuff! When I worked as a mechanic, the boss used to give us turkeys at xmas. I went to the rest of the guys and had them pony up a few bucks, and bought the boss a decanter (the bird one, for that year) of Wild Turkey. The first time, his wife came by and said that he really appreciated it, as that was his favorite whiskey. For the following years when I worked there, he got a bird decanter for xmas. I like Wild Turkey, but don't drink it that often. I think I'll get some tomorrow! Gotta watch it with that 101 Proof, though. It packs a punch.
