My friends, it's been a long time...... maybe 18 months or so? anyway I'm still kicking, just been hiding on Instagram

......and I'm still doing the same ol thing (buying and selling) C/10's, I'm going to try and visit here more often, here's a couple of pic's of my latest finds...... please bear with me, the last time I posted photos they came out upside down and I could not fix them.... and if that happens maybe someone can fix them for me.

No comment on the trucks, but that Jimmy is, please excuse, so California. Golden like the bear and that ain't all. It's so Maryland, too, because I really like it. That '67 just had to be Dark Turquoise. Too much, and that's all. Is that Central Valley letter job your idea? I already used too much so how about nailed it? Couldn't fight that custom urge any longer, ay? I know the feeling. That thing's a trip! And really green, too.

Some things need to be put into perspective to be appreciated

Guys will say "That's so '90s" or "That truck is so dated". Then turn around and be all about going era-correct. There's more then one era out there bruddas! And they all seem to come around again.

I've been following along on IG but it's good to see you back on the forum. I love IG but hate that it has pulled so many away from here. I like the more detailed info and discussion you get here.

You're right it has pulled a lot people away here, 3-4 years ago our Ca. region was so large and alive, who knows maybe more will return.......

I figure we're just keeping the place going so those who stray will always have a place to return to. No point in comparing one to another (FB, too). They are different and people like what they like and go where they go.

I'm just bummed that by the time it hit me how much my California friends were hanging in regions more than the main pages was when the migration had already begun. One reason I stay is for all the friends I've made here. I'd like to think I have a whole lot of people all over this country I could get with when in their areas. Without warning, of course. I hate to see people leave town unprepared

When I grow up I might get a smart phone and try IG. But the thing with this "original" hot spot for truck nuts is everything is here to look back at. More like an ocean than a river.
