Ever want better looking headlights for your 90-98 but it was too much? Look

Never liked the prices at LMC. But wanted to try the Halo style lights.

http://www.lmctruck.com/icatalog/cd/full.aspx?Page=67

I can get OEM repo's for cheap but wanted something different. None of these seem to last all that long before they either need refinishing or replacing.
Decided to look online to see what was available similar to the Halo style at LMC and came across this.

http://www.headlightsdepot.com/produ...X#.VZf08VLTC9Y

Are you kidding me? 2 headlights, 2 parking lights and all 4 front corner marker lights for under $100 for Halos!

For those that don't want Halo's but need replacements there is this
http://www.discountbodyparts.com/cat...c-921e50db8398

for $24.00 too.

I bought those lights off evil bay last year. Got all lights, including LED tail lights, all all smoked for lil over $100 IIR. The stock bulbs suck, put in Sylvania and work good but pattern isn't the greatest. But I like the lights, different and look good I think. Ones I got have a 194 bulb in low beam, and halo in hi. I put an amber bulb instead of white, looks pretty cool....

I just bought the headlight because they are glass. I like the look of the led on the signals so thats just a bonus. I really want to find a nice led/halo tail light thats not smoked.

Is there a company that makes the parking lights with glass lenses? I switched my headlights a while back to the quad sealed beam for the glass, I was tired of the plastic hazing over. If I could find the turn signals in glass with a factory look that would be great.

Re: Ever want better looking headlights for your 90-98 but it was too much? Look

Mine is a 1988 GMC so different than the Chevys. I ordered a set that was supposed to fit mine from headlightsdepot.com via Amazon (I use Amazon, pay the few extra bucks as I have NO problems, Ever, returning stuff for full refunds) and when got them, I was blown away with the major lack of quality.
I think the kit I got was only something like 98 bucks and the adjusters were already broken.

Guess what I am saying is, you still kinda get what you pay for so beware.

I too like the Halo's design but return those and went from my sealed beams to the lights I was able to change the bulbs in. Does not look gaudy, but clean.

My next project on this is to search the forum here and find were someone has changed the wiring so once you punch on High beams, they All come on. I want all 4 lights to light up. I did order the heavy duty wiring harness.

I did do that on my old 76 dodge van, used Monty Carlo head lights in that.

Oh, by the way, I paid something like 65 bucks for those trick tail lights for my Geo Tracker toad and after one winter, they are starting to look bad..

So beware of some of the cheap Chinese stuff.

The only difference between a GMC and a Chevy of comparable trim and model year is the sidemarkers. Headlights and parking lights are the same.
