Emergency Brake for rear disk

Anyone have any pics of completed emergency brake cable hookup on whatever rear caliper you are using -- Camaro, Eldorado, or other? I am using 82 Camaro and am getting closer to the pondering stage.

I am in the same boat your are. Lokar has some nice stuff, I have the caddy kit from cpp, but all my old cables were rusty and frozen so i will have to get all new stuff.

You may can use much of the camaro stuff (cables) for your application.
You could always convert to a street rod, hand brake if you have a center console setup.

Re: Emergency Brake for rear disk

Hey thanks for the input ---I fabricate and will let you know what I end up with. I want it to look pretty much factory -- haha. The 82 camaro's left and right are the same so one faces forward and the other backward. Am now hanging my brackets and will ponder the brake pretty soon--may use a slide or something --don't know yet---welding to the axle is not a prob. My cable is in pretty fair shape --- can maybe use Nico press sleeves for new connection. End result has to be pretty much fail safe. Maybe someone else has a solution retaining much of stock.

Re: Emergency Brake for rear disk

It appears that if you mount the 82 Camaro rear caliper forward the hole is correct for the 67 cable. This appears to have possibilities. Other side would be under instead of over but not much difference in height.
