If you could scale it up a little it would make a killer floor mat for a K5 also.

Agree. Just waiting on the trademark to come back from the USPTO then the products can really take off.

midunes, is there a Hickey badge on your Cadillac carrier? Any progress on its reproduction?

Re: who's got all the hickey enterprises parts stashed?

No Hickey badge on my cadillac carrier. These were made by Kayline and sold in the hickey catalogs. No progress on the carrier yet. Been busy working on rear trusses, steps and a few other small items. Also all the legal trademark paperwork.

I was originally planning on a Moto-lita wheel but thought it was maybe too vintage with the paddle shifter setup I'm going to be using so I went with a Nardi instead, but it is a great piece. Is it a 14, 14 1/2"?

Re: who's got all the hickey enterprises parts stashed?

So did Moto-lita have the horn cap, or did you have to create one?

I had the center emblem remade. All the other parts are still available from Moto Lita.

Did you happen to ask Moto-lita? Chances are they made the original ones, and they strike me as a company that never throws anything away, I mean like *never* throws *anything* away.

Would have been cool if they just said, what like an H and an E merged together? oh yea we've got a couple dozen sitting in the back, we were wondering what those were, they're from before my time...

I was hoping they said that too. I have scored a bunch of NOS Hickey Dana 44 front axle skid plates that way. If you don't ask you'll never know.

Re: who's got all the hickey enterprises parts stashed?

The Company that made all the roll bars for Hickey is still in business, it wouldn't surprise me if they still have all the plans stored away. I have one of their last shared catalogs from the 80s showing only their tubular products. Hickey also made products for Broncos, Ramchargers and Scouts, even getting into the tire and wheel business for awhile.
