Well, it's a done deal. I will get the impala this week. The owner was up until 3am yesterday getting the body perfect in primer and they are shooting it in a color of my choice- in this case white. Then the exhaust is being built tomorrow, new tires on the Ralleys tomorrow and we meet Wednesday.

VIN is clear with current tags and registration. I can't see any reason not to do it and you guys helped convince me. The frame is clean and the car is super clean underneath.
