WELCOME TO THE BOARD. I MOVED YOU POST TO WHERE YOU MIGHT GET THE ANSWER TO YOUR QUESTION QUICKER.

6Lug is a 1/2 ton model truck. Now the leaf thing I am not sure of. I believe the year of your truck they all had leaves.

Re: Gmc????

I think Chevy and GMC both had leaf springs then, although GMC had different crossmember and radiator carriage mount setups on their frames.

I ordered all 4 brake drums for my '55 GMC from Rock Auto. Just grind the rivet heads off and the drums will pull off with some persuasion. It is a 6 lug and I run 1970 steel wheels on it.

Re: Gmc????

just to keep us all on the same page here, is it a 55 first or second series? they changed body styles part way through the year so the first gen is an AD (advanced design) and the second 1/2 of the year is a TF (task force) design. some pics sure would help. both of these series of trucks were equipped with leaf springs on all 4 corners.

Re: Gmc????

I have drums for sale, and front leaf springs also for sale.

The drums I have are original, not Chinese
