Air ride compressor

kind of a silly question but getting ready to get my air ride in this weekend. is mounting the compressor under the bed okay? i dont park my truck in the garage. so was curious if being exposed to the weather would be okay for it?

Re: Air ride compressor

A lot of people do and as long as you mount it right it will be fine.

Re: Air ride compressor

Shouldn't be a problem at all. Just be sure that you have a weather tight connection for your power supply and ground and that the intake port on your compressor head is protected from any road "spray". If you take care of those two, you should be good to go.

Re: Air ride compressor

Here's where mine are. I haven't driven it in the rain yet but I have when the roads were still pretty wet an they didn't get much on them at all. I still plan to build some type shield for them just haven't gotten to it yet. A friend of mine has his mounted similar on his 72 for a few years now with no issues.
