Re: Did someone say "Bed"?

Jon would have to clarify this but from this http://www.keypartsonline.com/ They only sell though their distributors/dealers and don't sell direct.

If that is a "we do not compete with our dealers" statement I don't have an issue in the least. When I used to buy industrial parts for the juice plant I worked at I'd call the manufacture and ask "who do you want me to buy this though". One sent me to a distributor who in turn asked who I bought through locally and it ended up that one of my main vendors was the local dealer.

48 Chev 3100 that will run a 292 Six.
71 GMC 2500 that is getting a Cad 500 transplant.
77 C 30 dualie, 454, 4 speed with a 10 foot flatbed and hoist. It does the heavy work and hauls the projects around.

Probably not as these weren't tooled to make patch panels. Right now it would require stamping a complete side and cutting it up.

I don't see that happening right now but if the SWB go better than expected I'd never say never

Re: Did someone say "Bed"?

I sent an email the other day to ask who sells their parts in the PNW and got a quick answer back saying that Wes at Classic Heartbeat was to go to guy for PNW folks.

Wes is real picky about what he sells and what he uses in his own shop and that says something right there.

I agree, considering the cost of a decent 60 year old box (if you can find one) and the time and expense of prepping it for paint, the price of a new box may not be too unreasonable.
