Who's in West Texas?

I'm in the Odessa/Midland area. Are there any others in my corner of the world? I've only seen 3, 47-54 trucks in my area.. I'm sure there has got to be more.

I'm surprised too. Mines also all torn apart but still coming together reasonably fast. Biggest goal is to have engine in this month. That'll mean I'll have front suspension done, rear done, and cab (floor and firewall) done. That's 3 months..still hoping to be done for Christmas lol.

Matt my truck came from Misland. Picked it up last weekend. It's a blue/white 59 fleetside.

I live in El Paso too, currently in South Korea but will be back later this year. What kind of truck do you have? I have a 58 Short-Stepside project that has plenty of work to do.

Re: Who's in West Texas?

Having lived in McGregor in central Texas where my wife is from and driven though West Texas a number of times over the past 49 years you guys can be in West Texas and still be several hundred miles apart. In the 70's some of my wife's west Texas relatives would do beer runs that were about 120 miles one way to the closest place that sold beer then.

71 GMC 2500 that is getting a Cad 500 transplant.
77 C 30 dualie, 454, 4 speed with a 10 foot flatbed and hoist. It does the heavy work and hauls the projects around.
