Re: 1350 Drive Shaft

OK, thanks. NOT High Angle DL.....I did speak with a local DS builder/rebuilder and they can make anything I say. So we'll see what kind of price they come up with. I had to order a flat 32 spline flange for my NP205 cuz I forgot I upgraded to the bigger front output. Doh!

There are a number of transfer cases that used a flat 32 spline yoke. The 241 t-case comes to mind. Some even had different spacing on them for clearance. Those were the factory square flange and then there are a few aftermarket round ones

Re: 1350 Drive Shaft

So here is a little update to the D/S search. I mentioned that I was talking to a local D/S re/builder. I got all my measurements and operating angles over to them but they said they couldn't make the double cardan front shaft because my front operating angle was "extreme" it's 17 degrees. They stated I should look at other D/S builders. Ok, so I called Tom Woods and spoke with them about building an "extreme" angle double cardan 1350 front shaft. They said "17 degrees is not extreme and just order a normal from CV shaft" So hhmm...what is that all about. I'm not a driveshaft builder so I'm relying on experienced people to help me out with the right parts. Any input from the D/S veterans here?

Re: 1350 Drive Shaft

Just have Woods build your stuff, he does good work and has reasonable prices with a guarantee.
