95 4.3 Vortec

I have a 95 4.3 vortec out of an s10 blazer. Its a Running piece....it had a ticking noise when I bought it, I drove it around a few weeks and I checked it out, It ran pretty good, just that ticking sound, seemed like the lower half, it had had a new tune up on it so I only pulled the spark that I could get to. My mistake, shoud have taken the time to get to those last two.... heres what I found today

so since the truck came with another 4.3 I replaced the engine....now I have a good one and I could use the money .....I found another 87 chevy needs an engine (which I have) but otherwise its a Pretty 87 R10 Silverado.
any Ideas of what its worth......thanks Randy

im already missing my truck

anyone have an Idea what its worth, or what you would pay for it if you needed it. it was only built for 3 years, should I keep it?

They go for around $250-$300 around here. If it runs well and you can use it later I would keep it. Any chance it has the serp belt stuff you may want to sell? If so. PM me please.

Re: 95 4.3 Vortec

that sounds way low.....The guy I purchased the blazer from paid 800.00 for the one I just put in the truck, (he had a receipt) and he had to go to Georga to get it. this isnt the everyday 4.3, its the W, maybe im wrong, but if you can get these for 300.00 in good shape, we better buy up everyone we can get. we'll make a fortune, lol You could be right, anyone else have an opinion, thanks Randy
