67-72 truck bed with original "Rambox"
Hey guys I was trying to see if anyone has ever seen one of these little boxes on the side of our beds. I don't have the door but I'd like to find one.

Ram box? Never heard that term before. GM called it a Tool & Stowage Compartment and most folks just call it a bedside toolbox

I have one of these on my truck and they are very hard to find in good shape as they were very proned to rust.

Could someone post a close up pic of the door and how it is attached? I have the box but no door and have never seen one in person. I would like to see if I could make the door. I didn't know what the proper name for these was either.

I called it a "Rambox" because Dodge was the first trucks I've seen with factory storage. Like this on the bed. I wonder how hard it would be to make one from a patch panel.

Keep watching the parts board. These come up for sale once in a while. You will need the right hinges, lock, and other parts to make it work. All these parts might be available just watch the parts board. Or ask some of the guys who sell parts a lot on the parts board, some vendors: Classic bowties, Franks pickemups, Hope this helps.

Theres a bed for sale just down the street with one of these boxes in it... no door on it but it could be in the building with all the other 67-72 parts the guy has.
