Re: 72 Cheyenne K10 SWB Numbers Matching

My son Jordan (5) working on them Inline Tube brake lines again. Jordan has done a lot of blasting, polishing and painting on it. The original owner's widow took a real liking to Jordan and he's probably the real reason we final ended up with the K10.

Beautiful truck & attention to detail! Nice to see a family project like this! I have a LWB twin to yours that I brought back from TX a few years ago- currently collecting parts for a frame off. Keep up the great work!

Thanks for the compliments

All projects are a labor of love and money. Hopefully you can get started on your's soon. The med bronze and white trucks are hard to beat.

My boys are very talented and the best to work with.

Thanks for watching our build.

Watched the video of your 71 K10. Cool truck and like the LT1. Hard to beat a 67-72 SWB 4x4.

Thanks for subscribing and compliment

Years ago I hauled gypsum rock out of Nephi to Inkom Id. for the concrete plant there.

Like your truck also. I mainly drive black vehicles. We have a black 72 cheyenne C10 that was my son Ty's (3) pickup. We'll be redoing it as soon as this one is done.

Hi Mike,

It is finally nice too see photos of your progress. I did not know you had a build thread gong until today.

Thank you for being a great customer and the cluster looks right at home in the truck. I love the copper and white color combo too.

You and the boys are doing very nice work and it looks like it is going to be fired up and ready to fly soon

Take care, I will be talking to you soon,
Tom

Re: 72 Cheyenne K10 SWB Numbers Matching

Stereo: Retro Sound Bluetooth, Iphone USB head unit, 5x7 Retro Sound dash speaker, Alpine 8" subs w/built in amps and Alpine 4" speakers mount in mid cab corners above gas tank. (Will not use the 5x7 speaker in the dash on next build with factory air...will use their 4x10 instead) Retro Sound recommends the 5x7 for factory air, but we had to cut the crap out of to fit.

This Stereo system sounds amazingly good and was able to do it with the stock gas tank still behind the seat.

Thank you Ryan. Very pleased with the stereo system. We have always had good sounding systems in everything we operate. With the subs under the seat, 4s at mid cab corners and the dash speaker it has surprisingly good sound balance.

I'm very blessed and happy to work with my boys and family daily. The boys don't waste much time getting things done. Thanks for the compliments and please stay tuned for the finish. Should be done in a few weeks.

Seat with American Cushion foam and PUI cover.

Got all the saddle colored interior pieces and carpet from member HOTRODTODD. Todd had them in stock, and was able to match the colors from various manufactures for a perfect finish. He is a great friend to have.

The board and it's members help in every build. Only makes sense to buy and work with them. Have bought a lot of the NOS parts from here also.
Thanks for the kind words.

Thank you very much. I'll get you the paint code from the shop tomorrow and post them on here. Thought I had them at home, but couldn't find them.

Thanks Shawn. The interior in your K20 tugs at my heart strings. We had a 68 GMC 3/4 4x4 with the 327, 4 speed and plain interior around the ranch growing up that reminds me of yours. Back in the day we looked down on the automatics. Couldn't rock them in the mud and snow like the sticks did.
