NOS Grille Surround, Inner Grille and Emblem Ready for install.

Getting hard to find these NOS parts. We have another set ready for the other 72 pickup that we'll start restoring next winter.

Re: 72 Cheyenne K10 SWB Numbers Matching

Looking forward to seeing the paint applied Mike. It sure is looking nice and you and the boys are doing a fantastic job.

Are you getting the perfect weather we are getting here as well?

Keep up the great work,
Tom

Hi Tom,

It is getting closer, hopefully the final prime and blocking will be done this week.

Little cold here, but no snow.

Already started working the Airplanes and Spreader Trucks. Was hoping to have a few more weeks to work on the projects.

The K10 was invited to the Boise Roadster Show. Not sure we'll get it done in time.

Thanks again, Mike

Re: 72 Cheyenne K10 SWB Numbers Matching

At the SEMA show 2014, I talked to a good guy from The Right Stuff about us truck owners needing new brake boosters with Delco Moraine stamped on them.

This is the first one.

Redbaron,
Could you take a few more photos of your hidden hitch setup? No hurry, but I would like a closer look some time. Thanks!

I'm right there with ya! Awesome job so far!!! a real inspiration. I'd like to know more about the speaker set up behind the seat if you can elaborate at all. Did you make custom brackets, do they have a cover over them? any final pictures? Thanks, Brian

Thanks for the compliments Brian

We made brackets that wrap around the outside edges of the speakers. The 4" Alpine speaker do not have covers and I'm not aware of any 4's that do. They are protected by the seat. Will post some picture of the finish look when I get a chance to take them. This stereo system sounds amazing good and the bluetooth streaming though the Resto Sound head unit works flawlessly. Also love the Alpine 8" subs with built in amps under the seat. May even use these subs in our next 72 build that we are planning to move the fuel tank out of the cab.

Thanks for following along.

See you real like the 4 bys.

The day Jordan and I bought this one home we had to go see how good it would climb. Took it to the steepest close hill, turned in the hubs, put it in 4WD and let the old Posi go to work.

Here's the pictures looking down on the valley:

Thanks Ryan.

This color tone is a perfect match to the original color. The new paints just have a brighter appearance with the modern metallic within it.

Your thoughts?

Thanks Ryan,

It is hard to see the true color in pictures and different computer screens show different hues also. I think this is as close to original as possible with current paints.
