Four Wheel Camper Removal

I came across a Four Wheel Camper for my 72 blazer a while back and recently put it on my truck when I had several family members available to lift it on. Unfortunately, the man power required to accomplish this isn't around very often and I was wondering if anyone had come up with a way to remove it that doesn't involve $500 worth of camper jacks. The front section of a hard top was also not included with the camper and any lead on a replacement somewhat close to eastern NC would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Re: Four Wheel Camper Removal

I have a double wall top that I'm going to cut up for patches can cut the front section off and ship greyhound. I will cut up the front to the side glass opening for 100 plus shipping let me know if interested. I think you would have to glass the cut end but I think it is possible.

Re: Four Wheel Camper Removal

Pretty much no way around the camper jack route. I had to bite the bullet and buy a set of jacks, but they make it really easy to remove and install the camper. My jacks were a lot more than $500. To close in the cab, you will need a hardtop to cut down to fit. Measure twice and cut once, you don't want to cut off too much or else you will never get a good fit to the camper.
