Re: How about some pics of '73-'87 Crew Cabs Part II

I just acquired an original owner 1987 Chevrolet Scottsdale Crew Cab with less than 55k miles on it. The truck has the 454 engine in it. I have too many projects and will probably sell it. I just changed out the heater core. The engine is really strong.

Pretty clean and extremely solid too!! 2 owner rs is the style id love for mine!! Mines all white....

I just LOVE the look with the mouldings (two tone is tops!!) as well as the stock wheel covers!!!

Re: How about some pics of '73-'87 Crew Cabs Part II

Not tryin' to hijack the thread but need some advice (maybe a PM?)
Not ready to paint for awhile, and I would prefer a less multi-colored truck. Would it make alot of xtra work down the road if I was to just spray paint the fenders and doors for now? I'll proly do black.
Thanx for your help!

I would say to ahead and rattle can it. Whenever you go to do body and paint down the road, you will have to sand it down anyway. You might as well be happy with a new look in the meantime.

That Buick is a cool looking car. If I wasn't as few thousand miles away I might take it off your hands.

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.
It's like a highly skilled Morrocan sword fighter with a Damascus Steel Scimitar.....

Cubic inches is like Indiana Jones with a cheap pistol.
