frame question

A friend of mine said he would give me his '84 4x4 frame, minus axles, and drive shafts. I also have a chance to buy a '77 blazer, and I want to use the axles, and transfer case. Will these be a dirrect bolt up? If this will work, which I think it should, I want to a lift kit on it. Would a lift kit for the '84 frame work with my axles and what not? From what I know about 4x4's, I think all of this should work, but I figured I better ask to be sure.

Thanks

any 73-91 straight axles should work. i think the 1 ton rears are a bit different, but could easily be made to work.
