stalling chev
hi guys i have a 1990 chev truck and i have to put it into nuetral when im a stop signs otherwise it stalls and it olny does it usually when its cold any help would be greatly appreciated thank you very much

what is the idle speed? how many rpms in drive, neutral, reverse....
does it do this all of the time???? what about in reverse?? sometimes, you can have idle issues with the IAC on the engine.... just trying to help you determine if it is that or if it is a torque converter that is not unlocking... |

it just does it when it is warm not when its cold and it doesnt do it in reverse i was thinking the iac or even the coolant temp sensor
