Demon Carburetor

625 Road Demon that was taken off with around 1000 miles on the motor, replaced with a quick fuel. No problems at all when it was removed, just wasnt the right carb for the motor. Asking $175 includes shipping.

It was a small block, 350. It had nitrous and a custom clay smith cam. Basically it was replaced with a quick fuel because the quick fuel is fully exernally adjustable. The motor was originally a crate motor with a mild cam and aluminum intake and the carb was fine.

should be great for a stock 350. That is what I was planning on using it for I just came across another one that I plan on using instead.

That is where the phrase "I'll take it pending pics and more info." comes into play. Lesson learned, right. Don't worry, it's happened to the best of us. Better luck next time. Now you know.

Sorry forever71, I am not at home yet to take the pics. I can't really turn down a guy who wants it now and is willing to pay right away. I hope I did the right thing.

Same to Tim R, being interested is one thing, but too many times I've been told people were interested only to drag me along. I'm not at all saying you would have done this to me, I just use the "money talks" rule.

Re: Demon Carburetor

Try to remember order of buyers. It keeps people happier, I had the same thing happen to me.

Re: Demon Carburetor

I understand. I had another part listed somewhere else when a guy told me he wanted the part and requested a little more info. I sent the info and 3 weeks went by with no response. During that time I turned away several more buyers and he eventually passed on the part. And of course the other potential buyers bought other parts somewhere else. Oh well, everyone hear at this forum seems to get along so well that in the future I should just do as you suggest and keep an order of buyers. Maybe I can set some type of time to respond back before it will automatically move on to the next guy. Thanks for all your guy's understanding.
