Smile Barn Find! Chevy Truck go-kart!

I've been trying to research this go-kart but haven't found much. They seem to be fairly rare. I found this website and thought you would enjoy seeing this old go-kart. The manufacturer is F.W. & Associates Mini Cars. They made a lot of the old Shriner go-karts. It's possible this could have been used in parades by Shriners but who knows. My father-in-law found it and gave it to me for my 40th birthday
It came with the numbers matching drivetrain It was missing a few parts but my father-in-law sourced the missing parts and rebuilt the engine. I just need to drop the engine back in it and go for a cruise! I'm on the fence about cleaning it up or just leaving the body in barn find condition.

Here is my father-in-law in his Lil Red Express go-kart which is the same with slightly different body. He's about 5' 10".

Thanks. My father-in-law lives in the Washington DC area and I think he found it up there. I added my Chevys to my signature. I don't have any old trucks, but love our 2002 Tahoe

"I don't have any old trucks", You just happen to have the most beautiful and the most iconic GM muscle car of all time..... 1970 Chevelle SS454 Bravo Sir, Bravo!

I would clean the go cart up, when you get it put back together. I think it would look great.
