Good bye golden burb

I bought my suburban 15 yrs ago for $100. It truly was a inspirational buy.
That's a different story. Last week I crashed the burb along with my trailer and a few days before I got laid off. Money and jobs will come and go but it's had to
find a $100 GOLDEN BURB.

Wow, that's a bummer.... I guess there are a lot of good parts on it still, but no you will probably not find another $100 GoldenBurb...

YIKES! Yes, I hope everyone is ok.

Looks like a lot of good parts on it. I wouldn't just junk it.

Re: Good bye golden burb

Good to hear you are okay. Trailer wrecks can be very scary. Great story with the $100 entry fee to Burban world. With that low of a price it's a shame to have to face parting with it, but I understand that food and shelter thing. I hope things turn around for you.

Glad you ok. Sorry you had to go through that. Do you plan on looking for a new Suburban? I know you said in another post you've already started to put together some parts for it.

I been looking and nothing good. I called a bunch of salvage yards and found a 70 barn door for $750 nothing with it.

Re: Good bye golden burb

Glad to hear your okay.

Also glad to hear you found a replacement project.

Just out of curiosity, how did the crash happen? I'm assuming the GB was towing the trailer?

(In a nut shell)
Was taking a butt load of concert to the cement recycle when the trailer fish tailed and I couldn't correct it.. then BOOM jack knife.. Hit the dart bank on both sides.
