I am wondering what it will take to make a 72 chevy grill work with 68 fenders. Or is this not possible. I have a complete 72 gmc front clip with hood but I don't like the gmc grille.

I think you will have to change the fenders as well as core support to make the switch .

To use the 72 grill you would need a 69-72 chevy clip. The grill won't work with your current fenders or radiator support.
