1968 factory BBC 396 truck, start talking to the Machine shop about rebuilding it and he tells me it cheaper to build a 454. HaHa so I now have a 489 BBC. Name:  IMG_0756.jpg

my truck started out with a 350, and somewhere along the line the 327 it has now was put in. in the next year or two id like to swap it out for a 8.1 vortec

I find it interesting that at this point there's not that much less LS engines than small blocks, and more LS's than big blocks.

350 from a '72 4x4 in a '71 GMC longbed...does the trick, getting cleaner as I go. PO did the swap, I've been working on it for about 4 years and LOVE IT!

Chevrolet Performance crate 350/330 HP deluxe with Vortec heads. The original 350 is safely stored in a corner of the garage.
