which harness??

Hi guys,

I have a '51 5 window that I will be doing a modern drive train and suspension on, but I don't have a clue as to which new harness I should use! Just how many "circuits" do I need? Power windows and locks are only a remote possibility.

Thank you for any light you can shine on this

It really just depends on the circuits you want to add.

As far as the motor and transmission goes depending on what you are buying. If your doing a LS swap then by a stand alone harness and your good, you then use what's in the truck now also. The stand alone will run the motor & transmission. If you want to monitor the motor stuff buy a Scan gauage 2 are a simaliar product.

This link has a bunch of info.

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

I recommend the American auto wire kit.
