Old Missouri dealership help?

Posted on the parts board, but no luck. Anyone heard of Trimble Chevrolet Pontiac that was located in Thayer, MO.? One of my trucks came from there (dealer bumper) and I wondering if anyone had any information on it - post cards, photos, license plate, etc. Thanks.

Re: Old Missouri dealership help?

I remember seeing the stickers on cars and trucks. I believe it is now called River City Chevrolet or something like that. Small dealer in a small town. I drive by it on my way to Alabama to see my son at college. Wish I had more info for you.

Re: Old Missouri dealership help?

Call River Country Chevrolet (866-544-9195) and ask to speak to the oldest guy there. You may get lucky. I veered off my direct route to go through Winfield Alabama to try to find the GMC dealership that sold my ‘67 GMC...the original building is gone, and the building where the dealership moved to is now some sort of financial company. I got the name of the dealership owner’s son who took over the dealership later, called him and had a fine time talking to him. He’s the 1st cousin of the guy (original owner) I bought the truck from.

Re: Old Missouri dealership help?

I emailed, but no reply. I called them Friday and one of the parts guys told me the grandson of the guy who bought out Trimble Chevy works at the current dealership. He was out Friday, but I'll call him after the holidays. Thanks for the help.

Same question, different dealership! My 67 has a dealer bumper from a Busby Chevrolet in Malden, MO. Would love to find more info about it!
