86 3/4 body lift and fan question.

Im in installing a 2" body lift on my 86, and was wondering what my options were for the fan and radiator shroud. im wondering if an electric fan is needed, or if there is a way to lower or cut the shroud to allow for the body lift. thanks

I've always cut the shroud. If you don't want to do that just remove it and go electric. It's up to you on how much you want to put into it

You sound like you already have it partly figured out. either go electric (expensive way) or customize the shroud.
With e fans, make sure you get a large enough cfm to cool your size motor and wire it correctly with large gage wires and relays.
I have no suggestions on lowering the shroud. good luck.

Re: 86 3/4 body lift and fan question.

now if you end up cutting the shroud down, will you need to fill up the gap on the top to keep the airflow sealed up? and one of my friends mentioned something about moving the shroud down, or something like that.
