Clutch linkage question

I have a 69 c10 it had a 292 with a three on the tree. The six cyl is out and I have a 350 for it. Im using the same tranny. Will the Clutch linkage work from the 292 or not. Can you tell me what I need to get. Thanks Brian Wolf

If you are mounting in I 6 position with the sb, the 250 eng stands will work(you will need to change the pass side stand). Mounted in I6/250 position with my sb, here is what worked for me.......I used all of the v8 clutch linkage, & instead of the bolt on bracket/pivot ball , I used a screw in pivot ball in the foward hole on the block. Then the bell crank was set up perpendicular with the eng, & the holes were redrilled for the frame bracket (again the v8 pc). The lenght of the bottom rod then had to modified. set up like that , I ran a set of 69090 Hedman headers, & all the linkage cleared. I couldnt say about the column shift linkage, as I ran a floor shifter. Good luck.....crazyL

Brian, If you are in Bismarck some time, stop over at my house. You can look at my 327 clutch linkage set up if you want. I've got my engine out for a rebuild right now.

Drop a PM sometime.
