it's the bar that separates the vent window from the door glass. Some are black, some are chrome.

There used to be a bar not far from here where the blacks drank in one part and whites in the other parts. Ya, I know, civil rights prohibited but no one was watching. Then it all fell apart when everyone found out they could have a good time mixing it up. I'm serious. Now the Mexicans drink over on that side

. Not really, just having fun. It is no longer a division bar, but really was in the not so distant past. This made me think of that and where else would this fit?
