Blowin oil out the dipstick??

Hoping you guy can help me. My buddy has a 94 4x4. His 350 blows about a qt of oil out of the dipstick in about 30 mins-1hr of driving it. Before the dipstick it was blowing out the rearmain so he installed a new rearmain and now it blows out the dipstick tube. I know its over pressurizing, it has to be. Just cant figure out why. The pcv valve was cleaned. Any ideas? Im guessing theres maybe a clogged vent somewhere we have over looked. Thanks in advance.

There's a vent on the driver's side valve cover close to the firewall. That should lead to the air cleaner. Check there, that's the only other breather besides the PCV valve that I know of.

Re: Blowin oil out the dipstick??

if it is tbi check where the pcv valve hose goes in the tbi. they will get plugged up and cause a backup in the cranck case. had this problem with the 4.3 in my old s10 and 4.3 jimmy too. hope this helps. oh by the way the best stuff to break up the carbon in there is with gunk's air and intale cleaner. then pickup it out with a small pick.
