LED Odometer/Trip Meter out
The green LED odometer/trip meter/hour meter keeps going out in the dash of my '01 Suburban. Before I take the instrument cluster out what should I be looking for to fix? I can occassionaly get them to come back on if I tap on the clear plastic instrument cluster window. Dash night time lamiation is working fine just the green LED's are the problem.

Check with your dealer. We had an issue with the cluster in our 04 2500 at work and come to find out they put a 60k mile warr on it because they had so many issues. BTW ours was an issue with the tach needle and speedo needle not tracking properly.

It's a cluster problem. Most have been extended to 60,000 miles, even if your out of that but close the service manager may be able to cover it for you.

My dash went out in my 05 SS and they had to send it out to be fixed. The stealership said it would only take three days but it took 7 days cuase I live in the vutthole of the world and shipping companies cant seem to get it together and ship overnight to and from here.
