67 C10 Building a driver...

Been lurking this site through the whole process so I figured it was only appropriate to start a build thread after I joined. Anyways here it is when I started. My goal for this project is to have a clean, somewhat original look, and to be a dependable driver.

Are you using the 28x10 r18 front and rear ? I like the amount of sidewall.

No I'm running 28 x 10 up front on an 8'' wide wheel and 28 x 13.50 on back on a 12''wide wheel (if they will every ship!) I've been waiting on the rears for three months

Re: 67 C10 stepper frame off

Stopped by and checked out some parts at the paint shop yesterday, I had the inside of the fenders and bottom of the steps lined. Its amazing how much it deadens the sounds produced by the metal fenders.

Re: 67 C10 stepper frame off

Got the new steering box mounted up last night. I had this box built at benchworks steering. Should be a direct fit for the LS power steering pump lines.

Are you going to tub it? Will the 13.50 fit? I think I have 9.5 and they are really close to rubbing.

Re: 67 C10 stepper frame off

Never mind, I noticed that you are not that low so you should not have a problem.

By the way, that looks like it was a nice truck to start with.

It's got a totally tubular kit in the rear from CPP, it's a 6'' rear drop (Drop was installed after the pictures of it together). I'm going to cut a set of factory fleet side wheel tubs to get the extra clearance.
