Wanting 56" springs, giving 2" lift?

I Installed 2" tuff country EZ springs in the front of my 71 blazer but still have the stock 52" springs on the rear with an add a leaf to level it. I would like to put a 56" spring in the rear to give a softer ride but don t want to do a 4" lift with a shackle flip like most of the threads out there. I would like to get a 2"-3" lift out of the 56" spring. How would I do this? I have no clue if mounts need to be moved or if I need longer shackles or etc? would appreciate any advice.. Thanks, Mike

What would I do to install 56" springs with using stock perches and how much of a lift would I get?

I'm not staying up on the 4x4 threads, but for a softer ride and you would lift it a bit you can add a leaf liner in between each leaf. It should be a slippery plastic liner that looks like a flattened out "H". I did this decades ago to a willy's pickup with a tall narrow stack and changed the truck a lot. Being able to reduce inner leaf friction is a huge improvement. Hopefully it's still available and i believe plastic buttons can be added in place of the liner also.
